Request For Evidence- Need Advice

How much of a delay does a Request For Evidence delay the AOS process. I would imagine it varies, but can anyone give me a ballpark based on experience?

Only a matter of weeks nothing to worry about and if it is straight forward and you reply pronto it can be re started right away.
