We had our interview on August 18, 2011. The I.O. didn't give us any detail, except that wait for the mail, no additional information, no forms. However she interviewed us separately, first me and second, my wife (U.S. citizen) the I.O. was ok, a little rude but reasonable. She took my I-94 but not my EAD. It's been more than 2 months and didn't get any update, neither online. We took Infopass and went there. The USCIS employee, and old and polite lady who attended us told that the case is still under I.O. and waiting for a decision. If you can have any similar experience or output that give us an idea, how much time we have to wait, or what is the prospect of our case, would be greatly appreciated.

Don't make any sense to me, this is pretty long without a cause. I would suggest another info pass. Worst case scenario, contact your local congressman....Originally posted by ATHEROS View Post -
Similar thing with me. I had an interview on Aug 24,2011 and the IO gave us a letter indicating 'you will receive a decission in mail within 60 days'. But now already 70 days passed and I didn't receive any thing. I called the USCIS, they said it is still under review of IO.Comment

Update
Yester I went to Federal Plaza with an info pass.
The IO officer at the info pass counter checked the file and said it is waiting 'Security Clearence".
To confirm he went to the dept where the file is located, and he talk to the offier of that dept and cameback and told me it is in Security check.
He printed a receipt and checked 'The application I-485 waiting security check.
He don't know when it gonna be approved.
