Filling I-485 but Wife is in India

Hi

I am in delima as my priority date is current and my lawer is saying to file the I-485 .
Now my wife is in india and she is not able to come her H4 is stuck in query .

So what options i have if i file the I-485 . what process my wife has to follow ...

and is it a good idea to just hold on the I-485 untill she comes here ,

What is the advantage .. i am not sure she will be able to come USA on H4 visa because her application is still under process
