485 & h4

I have a valid L1 visa till 04-Jan-2012
My husband is on H1 and his EB2 priorities dates have become current in Jan
He is planning to apply for his 485 and include me as spouse while filing 485

Now since I have to leave US on 04-Jan-2012 what is the better option
, can I leave to India apply for H4 and come back so that my husband & me can file for the 485 together. My question is can I go back and forth between India and US after 485 is filed

Yes, you can apply now and travel after your visa expired, you have to feel an I-131(multiple trips) with your I-485 and require it at local embassy.

Yes, you can apply now and travel after your visa expired, you have to feel an I-131(multiple trips) with your I-485 and require it at local embassy (depends of the length of stay).
