I-485 Withdrawal-How long?

Does anyone have any experience with how long it takes to have a withdrawal request processed?
I left the US not realizing my travel document was expired. I have everything I need for a TN and was basically told at the border that they would approve it once it showed that the 485 was cancelled in their system. I expressed a letter to USCIS that they received December 19th.

Just wondering how long it will take them to send the notice of action.

Withdrawal of I-485

You will have to write USCIS in charge of your area of abode/ jurisdiction a notorized letter and copy MSC/ Missouri Service Center.

It can take from 2weeks to 6months before your case is canceled, you may need a good attorney verse with the internal intricacies of your area USCIS office and officials, if you want it to move faster. Sorry that is the system.

Are you sure? My case is being processed in Texas. I sent a letter to them via Purolator and it was received. Why would I have to send to Missouri?

Hello,

Just wanted to update the board that I received confirmation that USCIS withdrew my I-485 application. I left the US without a valid travel document in November. I sent the withdrawal letter on December 19 and a follow-up on January 30 requesting an update via text message and email and got the response today. According to my lawyer, I should be free to go to the states if I wish once I receive the letter from USCIS.
