Spouse on I485 application

I am waiting on my date to be current. I got a question about adding my wife on I485 once date is current. My spouse had a H1 with another company.

1. Can she continue to use her H1 and continue with her employer after I485 approved. at what point of time she need to come out of H1 ?

2. Can she ask her employer to use her EAD to continue her employment with them.

1. Once her I-485 is approved, she is green card holder and can't be on H1 any longer. Until then, she can be on H1.

2. Yes. But if she used EAD, she won't be on H1 any longer.
