  • I-94 question for 485 application

I came to USA in 2001 and since then, i've been to India twice. So i've been issued three I-94 cards. I do have a copy of the 1st one (2001) and the last one (2006) but didn't have a copy of the middle one (2003). And also i lost my I-94 card from 2006 (do have a copy though) and got a new I-94 number with my H1B visa in 2007.

So the question is, do i need to submit all the I-94's that i have been issued or only the last one, that is on my H1B is sufficient?

And also in future, for the GC interview, do i need to get that I-94 that i lost (2006)???? I know it costs about 330 bucks to apply for the lost I-94. That is why i am asking.

Thanks for the suggestions in advance.

You are not supposed to be collecting all the I-94s you receive.

Every time you leave the U.S., you are supposed to hand over all the I-94s you have at that time to the airline staff.

Therefore, you should have only the latest I-94 with you.

That's true. I don't have any originals. I have only copies. Since i haven't been to India since my F1-H1b transition, i should have the last F1 copy which i lost it.

But thanks so much for the info. I will put the latest I-94, which is on my H1B.

Be prepared to show proof, that you left the country before expiration of I94. The point here is you were not out of status any time in US.
