I have a question:
My 22 years old son ( single ) just turned us citizen through naturalization and he
will send forms to adjust my status ( i-130 & i-485 / concurrent filing ) , he is a university student and he is unable to sponsor
me financially , but I have worked in this country since 1990 and I have worked more than 10 years and I have earned more than
40 quarts of ssa coverage , and I can prove with the last statement ss adm mailed on 2010 ( last one ) .
I never applied or received any government assistance or benefits from Unite States .
Since I was not authorized to work during all those years if I fill form I-864w , can I get penalized ? or I will be pardoned ?
I also have all my income taxes returns since 1991 .
I am single person , never married .
I am not working anymore since June 2011 , but I can support myself with benefits from my father on my birth country .
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks,
Barros
