    Adjustment of status (family based) for a foreign military member on a f1 visa

    Hello,
    I am a foreign exchange cadet at the US naval academy. I met my girlfriend here and we loved each other. I would like to stay here in the US and apply for green card. Am I allowed to do that knowing that I have an outstanding military commitment. I am here on F1 visa and civilian passport.
