G325A Question for filling the employment dates

My husband's 1st 3 years of H1B was expired in Sept, 2009 and he applied for his extension. His payroll was ran until Dec 2009. Then he went to India from Jan, 2010 to April 2010 and got the H4 visa (his H1B was still pending by the time he got H4) and came back to USA.

On G325A form, when i fill the employment dates, should i mention that gap from from Jan - April 2010? Since he was on H1B, can i fill his employment until April 2010 (pay roll was only until 2009 DEC)????


Would appreciate any suggestions.
