Need Help - PD has become current

Hey guys,

I am not sure how many of us on the same boat as i do right now, but i am looking for some advise and hopefully someone who has some knowledge please share your thoughts!

My PD has become current, and i am in dilemma whether to apply for I-485 or not, My marriage has been put on hold due to a loss in family and planning to get married some time July-2012.

1. since my PD has become current, i definitely don't want to apply for my I-485 as it would become measurable to get my wife incase it get approved before i get married.

2. But, if i do apply so, and the case is still pending, What are the chances to add my wife to the pending I-485 applications, i was following a thread on another web site, and come across that as long as my PD is current, and I-485 is pending i can include my wife, but what if the dates go back?

I am on H1B, completing my second H1B extension by 10/06/2012, i am going to apply for H1B extension in Apr so i can go for Visa extn again and fly India to get married in July, You may ask me why i am going for Visa interview?, well, i haven't included that my passport was stolen in oct-2011, it was a residential burglary, a police case has been registered and passport was replaced, also, sent an email to VFS Hyderabad, India letting them know that my Visa was stolen, my employer is willing to go for my H1b extension in apr (180 days) so i can fly canada or some where else for extn, else another Idea is to file I-485, and apply for AP, so i can fly india, but was worried if i do so, and by any chance i-485 gets approved before July-2012, that would really be a problem for me to bring my future wife in to states, I know i am a mess, but things gotten out of my hand having my passport was stolen.

Please advise if you have any Ideas?
