Need URGENT advice getting married to citizen

I'm getting married to my girlfriend who is a citizen. I got here on a Visa 15 years ago from France
I have been working illgeally since to support myself.

Will their be complications because of me having worked illgeally?

Also once I get married when will the interview be held for the green card?

I'm planning on seeing a lawyer, is it better to have a lawyer file the work for me?

How long does it ususally take to get your citizenship?
