Different job titles with the same employer
My employer plans to apply for Green Card and the employer attorney says that I need to be in the same job title/position till the green card processing is complete (for how many years it may be)
As I enquired, perhaps I can use AC21 condition even if I change job titles. Is that true? I am in health care administration general job classification and working in an administrative role and would move to a new position in March. Once I move, I might be there for 1 year before I can change my title again in 2013. I hope that I can apply in the new position (March, 2012) and even if I move in 1 year, still I can use AC21 to go forward with the process. I think this should work.
Please clarify if my attorney with the employer needs to be aware of anything else.
