Urgent - I485 RFE - Please help

Hello All,
I recently got following RFE for my I485 application. My spouse is primary on the I485 process.

- to prove my identity (passport biometric page/drivers license) .
- submit copies of all petitions/approval notices(form I-797) granting extensions after Sep 2010
- submit proof of continuous employment authorization from Oct 2010 to Dec 2011(I-797 and/or I-94)


I had my H1B renewed in Sep 2010 and name change was done in Dec 2010. Currently my I-797 has maiden lastname, while my new passport, drivers license, SSN, EAD/AP have new lastname(after marriage). I'll be submitting biometric page from old and new passport, drivers license, marriage certificate, I-797 with I-94. Is this good enough.

Will there be any issue if I-797 has maiden name? When i did my name change in passport my companys lawyer said its better to do name change in I-797 during next renewal. Is this ok?


Also i'll be travelling out of the country end of Feb and come back in Apr on EAD/AP. Currently I'm working on H1B. I'm planning to reply to the RFE after I come back to USA on EAD/AP. Will there be any issues at the port of entry?

Yeah its good enough, but you can write an explaination letter mentioning your name changed after marriage.
Submit a copy of marriage certificate showing your and your husband name ( which means your maidan name got changed).
If you have attorney he can write an explaination letter.
Any other documents which shows you and your husbands identity. (Utility bill copy or Joint bank account copy or insurance copy - just in case to stisfy them).
Less is matter more doesn't matter
