I just go married to my husband, a US citizen and i'm on the process of completing the paperworks. I know that one thing im gonna miss in our application will entail us months of delay, so i'm reading all the threads and posts here i deem relevant to my case.
I haven't seen any post similar to my case though so im requesting for help. I entered US on a tourist visa. For some reasons i wasnt able to go home before the expiration of my I-94. So simply put, i was already out of status when i married my US Citizen husband.
My problem is:
Can i file for an AOS if i am out of status and worked illegally? Do i need to declare i worked? If i did, will there be a penalty like back taxes or something? Do i need to file iTIN?
