Hello,
I am in process of submitting my I485 to USCIS when my attorney noticed that one I-797 for my wife is missing. Upon checking with my company, it looks like, they never filed for extension for my wife when they filed for my visa extension. It was in Mar-2008. However, my wife was able to travel to India in Jun-2009 and got fresh visa stamped and came to US.
My questions is: What are the options do I have, if it really the case that my company did not file extension for my wife?
I am on L1 if that helps.
All help/pointers are well appreciated.
BTW, slightly deviating from topic, if there was no valid extension, how did USCIS gave fresh visa to my wife?
