help regarding i 485

i am an f 1 student and out of status and got married to a us citizen and applying for change of status.

i have a question

what should i answer on the question " Current uscis status" on form i 485

fyi: i entered on a legal student visa status and then got out of status.

You are no more legal on your F1 so it is fair enough to write in there, OUT OF STATUS!!! They will already know once u indicate the information regarding your F1 VISA. Thanks
