RFE due to Pregnancy

Hi,

I just received my I-485 receipts and I'm expecting RFE because my wife is pregnant and we didn't go for her chest x-ray for obvious reason. Is this RFE normally affects EAD or only Adjustment of Status?

Also, after receiving I-485 receipts how many days does it take to get bio-metric appointment letter?

About the time duration for biometric, it depends on the CIS center handling your case. But the window from the receipt to biometrics is usually within 30 days to receive the notice and do the biometrics. If you wife has done any previous xray, i would advise that you have that handy. I am sure you will have to send a completed signed and sealed medical report before your case is processed. This is just my layman view. Please consult an immigration attorney.
