  • I485-I131-I130-I864... But denied entry in my passport last year

Hello there , Finally found a forum for help...
I am a French citizen and I just married an american citizen last january. I came in a visitor visa 6 month ago. B2 wich is going to expired this month...
In the past I was a student for 2 years and met my sweety pie while studying.
Last year I came In the US with the visa waiver program but I was denied to entry and needed to do a visa to re enter. I didn't have a return ticket. They cross my old student visa and write cancelled without prejudice.
and in the back some strange letter :8cfr2174(a)(1)A#201111505 21marc2011phi#1338
( I was going to mexico for 5 month so i have only a one way ticket.)
I am now doing my paperwork (I485-693-131-130-864...)
Do I need to take a lawyer or could I submit everything myself?
When I got deny to enter in the US, the officer found out I was doing some babysitting time to time and waitress services on the week end in the summer.
I am just wondering if I need to mention it in my paperwork... there is a question about past jobs.
    Thank you for your help

    Bonjour Marie!

Tu n'as pas besoin d'avocat.

Si on t'as paye cash, tu n'as rien a declarer.

    Bonne chance!

I agree with the previous post regarding using a lawyer. The procedure is simple enough for you to handle it yourselves. Concerning the I-693, you need to have a medical exam performed which is reported on the I-693.
