EB3 to Eb2

Hi

I am on EB3 Status filling date Aug 2007, I have got my I-485 approved and working on my EAD since last year. Is there any way to move from EB3 to EB2 preference category, my employer is not sponsoring my immigration process.

Any way to convert to EB2 without changing the job ?

You said your I-485 is approved? if approved mean you should got your Green Card.
I think you mean your I-485 is pending and you're working on EAD.
You need sponsor (Employer) to port from EB3 to EB2.

- Your Employer should apply for new Labour in EB2 category depends on your education and experience.
-After your Labour approved then your employer should apply I-140.
-Once I-140 is approved, then you port your previous EB3 dates to EB2 category so your dates gets prioratize.

-withoud an employer you can't do any thing in this situation. If your employer accepts to file in EB2 category then both of you can mutually share the expenses.
- The most thing for EB2 is your company should capable to pay the EB2 category preference salary. They need to provide financial documents to USCIS at the time of I-140.
