How long USCIS takes to cash my checks

Hello All ..

My attorney sent papers to USCIS on Apr 20 th 2012 ..USCIS received on 23rd 2012 . My PD is Feb 2008 . My checks are not cashed yet..Does any one know how many days it takes to get tracking number for my case .

Pls let me know the details

I had sent my I-130 and I-485 on 4/17, it was received on 4/20 and saw that they cashed both of my checks on 4/24.

Btw, got home today and my biometrics appointment notice was in the mail.

You don't need to wait for the appointment date. You can go before also.

I didn't know that. The notice seems very specific about arriving on the date and time printed on the notice. thanx.

We went today for the biometrics before our appointment date and they refused.
