I-485 petitioner but leaving USA

Dear Sir,

finally after 3 years of trying I have an INterview with USCIS for my mother's GC. However, my situation has changed and I will be leaving US in August with my spouse on US Goverment orders to serve overseas. My brother who is also a US Cit is working in India. If Asked, how do I justify that I will be able to bring my mother back in US in compliance with LPR status ?
is there a specific set of documents or evidence that I can provide. Is this even a valid conccern ?

from what I understand, your mother will leave with you after she gets a GC and she won't be able to come back soon to US.

If that is the case, no one is going to ask you why she has not come back in time.
She has to answer for herself. If she stays outside US more than a year , her PR will be cancelled and she will have to get a returning resident visa.
Or she can get a REENTRY PERMIT before leaving US, so she can reenter.

btw, why did it take 3 years for her GC interview?
