Is the Birth Certificate Issued by the Consulate General of India valid for the stage I-485 ? & If there is one in the regional Language how to get it Translated ?

Hi

My attorney had told me to get an affidavit from parents or close relatives with the proper name (E.g I had a birth certificate issued by government authority but contained initials instead of expanded name). Notarized affidavit on stamp paper is admissible.
