I'm DV2012 winner and have applied to adjust a status filling I-485. My wife lives in another country and I have filled for her I-824 (application on approved action) so that she can get the green card through consulate processing once it is approved to me. Basically this means that she will follow me on a later date as indicated in I-485
Now problem is that on the interview letter that I got today from USCIS is written to come to an interview with my wife!
Weird thing is that my wife will come to the US on a visitor VISA and will be present in the US at the time of my interview. Technically I can go to the interview with her, but what is the point when she is not adjusting the status and I'm afraid that she even shouldn't be in the US at that time since it is indicated on my I-485 that she lives in another country and will follow me on a latter date.
What should I do? Set infopass with USCIS?
