USA CITIZEN marrying F1 Girl
Thanks a million for your time with my post.
I am Jaz Patel (usa citizen) married to Roshani Prajapati (F1 visa).
I want to file for her green card .
Roshani wants her name as “Roshani Patel” on green card and other documents from today onwards.
To do this filing and forms, do we need to do any name change process OR can we just do the forms with her new last name “patel”
The marriage certificate has her last name as “Prajapati” and not as “patel”.
A. Do we need to do name change thru any other process?
B. How long will it take to get (1) EAD,(2) travel document and (3)Greencard?
C. She got EAD denied earlier after finishing her MASTERS during OPT application. Will you mention that denial in her EAD application? If yes, will it adversely affect her EAD and Greencard Process?
