Hi All,
We have been called for interview for our GC.
They have separate timings for us. My hubby is the primary applicant filed by his company in EB1(OR) category.
USCIS mailed us a n interview notice. They will interview us separately.
Here is the big list of docs they asked for
Identity Documents
Original birth certificates for you and your spouse
Original passports for you and your spouse
Original marriage certificate for you and your spouse
Original marriage certificate (and divorce decrees for any prior marriages, if applicable)
Original driver's license for you and your spouse
Evidence of Joint Residence and Continuing Marriage
Original and copy of lease agreement / deed for home ownership with both names
Original and copies of joint bank/investment account statements with both names (three statements for each year of marriage)
Original and copies of joint credit card account statements with both names (three statements for each year of marriage)
Original and copies of automobile/life-insurance/individual-family-dental-plans/vision insurance plans with both names (three statements for each year of marriage)
Original and copies of utility bills (telephone/gas/electric/water/cable) with both names (three statements for each year of marriage)

Original and copies of birth certificates of any children of the marriage
Evidence of Ability to Support
Copies of joint tax filings for the last three (3) years
Original and copies of three most recent paystubs for you and your spouse, if employed.
We have most of these but my question is reg the "Original and copies of three most recent paystubs for you and your spouse, if employed.
"
I am legally employed by a company.
I have been with a consultancy and started with this company. Then I will be a permanant employee of the company starting July 2nd. Now suppose I take an employment verifcation letter from the company, will the USCIS call them and check on the dates with them. I dont want them to know that I was with a consultancy b4.
Is it ok to reveal my employment at the time of interview. What checks will they make once I show them the employment letter.
Thank u for reading
