  • Place of Birth and the Green Card Process

    Hi,
The birth place on my passport (Indian Passport) is City A but the Actual city of birth is city B. My question is, can i present USCIS the "No Record of Birth Document" from City B (Actual Place of Birth and since i don't have a "Birth Certificate"), alongwith with a "Birth Affidavit" from parents/elders, without having to change the "Place of Birth", in my passport? To sum it, during the Green Card process can i present USCIS with "No record of Birth document" from City B, while my passport still says City A, as my "Place of Birth"?

    Everything should be consistent.

Get whatever you need from city A.
