I-485 approved but problem on the resident date
Hi everyone,
I got a problem. I got my I-130 approval in May 2007 and after that I didn't adjust my status for I-485 and recently I just applied it got the approval of green card but the "Resident Date mark on 7-25-2012". So do I need to wait another 3 more years to get the citizenship or not because I think they will date back the time I am in here. I haven't out of state for almost 10 years and I think this is not fair to get the date on the interview date. I check with my husband and he said I am totally quality for citizenship but the GC mark on that I really have to wait for it or any exception. I really want to try apply for N400 but I really don't know and really need some advice from all you.
