Hey Gang,
I filled my forms about 2 weeks ago now and the courier has assured me that they have been delivered and signed for. My J-1 will expire on the 31st of this month and i am starting to worry just a touch. My question really is once i am 'in process' and i eligible to stay after my visa expires? I don't want to receive my i-797c and discover i have overstayed. I have not used a lawyer due to limited funds and i am assuming that i will get a request for further evidence on wither my 130 or 485. If anyone can answer my question i would greatly appreciate it. You guys and this site have been a fantastic help so far
