    Laid Off when I485 is Pending

    HI All,

    I485 was applied on March 1 2012. I got my EAD/AP in April.I got laid off today and I will be in payroll until September 21. Can you please let me know if I can use my EAD to find a new job? Does 180 days count includes the working days or the days from which I485 is applied. What immediate steps I need to take. Please advise. ANy help appreciated.
