Employer change due to unavailable nymbering

Hi all,

Earlier we were able to change the employer after 6months of 485 &140 submittal. But as now the numbers(serial#) are unavailable for 140(correct me if iam wrong), shall we be able to change after applying for 485(after 6mohts)?
Please advice.
