Filing I-485 pending approval of I-140 (NIW)

I filed I-140 (EB-2 NIW) standing alone at USCIS Texas lockbox during the time when the visa for EB-2 was still not current, said application is still pending approval with the USCIS. My question is can I file I-485 now that the visa for EB-2 will be current next month? Where will I file my I-485? Does anyone knows the answer? I need your advise as my status is about to expire.
