Adjustment of status after interview how long it will take to make decision

hi to all

i am new to this forum, my situation is we went to Family based green card adjustment status interview in aug 27,2012 its almost one month ago,

IO satisfies all our answers and also my wife she is US citizen pregnant (6 months) when we went to interview, IO noticed that also,

after everything done, she told us to wait for 2 to 4 weeks or 30 days , u will get decision in mail, IO told to my lawyer interview passed just she want review the case thats it,
In fact IO took my I-94, and also copy of my EAD.
Its almost 30 days there is no response from uscis, can any body tell me how long it will take decision.

- Did he gave you any letter stating you will get decision in mail within 30-60 days.
- Usually if everything ok then they will approve on the spot, or within a week two.
- Wait for 6o days, then open a Service request or take an info pass appointment and visit local office.

- There is a hope it may come soon ( The IO may not have authority to make decision, his supervisor makes the decision, or they forget to update your status)

Thanks for response, IO dint gave me any letter stating that will get decision in 30 - 60 days, but she just tell that u will get decision in 2 to 4 weeks or 30 days ,

when my lawyer ask her did they passed interview? IO said to yes to her, IO said there is the another file on my name she wants to review that file then she will going to make a decision on it,

If 30 days are passed after the interview then make an info pass appointment and visit your local office.
Don't open SR, if you want to open SR they will check the processing time of local office and if your case is still under that period then they don't open SR, and tells you to wait couple more months.

Better go by info pass. (if you passed the interview the IO should approve your I-130)
Example: In my case the IO approved I-130 nex day (I received approval letter following week) but for I-485 he holds for 11 months, then he ask us to submit I-601 waiver. (for foolish reason: I had before emp base AOS and the company got close and the case is abandoned)

i called my attoney she said wait for couple of weeks, there is no way to deny u r case, u r case genuine, dont panic,

so what should i do now? my I-130 not yet approved , still say initial review,

There is no harm if you go by info pass. Some times IO forgot to update the system or the file is just laying there and the data entry person didn't update etc.

As per your attorney you can wait couple more weeks or give a shot.

is that true if we take info pass , it will usefull or not , my attorney said nothing will happends , is that true

I was just reading this forum and got your question asked in 2012. Just want to ask how long it took you to get the letter after your interview? As same thing happened to me, i was told that she need to get the file from state so we will hear the decision with in 30 days but haven't heard since then.

Hi, Just saw your question asked in 2012. Can you please tell me how long it took you to get the approval after interview? As same thing happened to me IO said all documents are complete but she just need to get the file from state so we will be hearing the decision with in 30 days. Haven't heard anything since then.
