Unemployment insurance

Hi,

I was let go from my job seven months after getting a GC. Will that have any implication on my GC status?

Also I plan to file for unemployment insurance from the state of TX. Will that have any implication on my residency status, or my future citizenship application?
Please reply ASAP since I plan to file in a day or two.

It does not have any negative impact, neither on the GC nor on a future citizenship application.
Unemployment benefits are not a public benefit, they are an insurance, with premiums being part of your taxes.
The only thing you should watch out for: don't stay abroad for over 180 days when unemployed. If you return after more than 180 days, you are seeking admission to the US, and all the grounds of exclusion apply. One of them is becoming a public charge, and that probability obviously is larger when you are unemployed.
