By mistake opened the envelope

After my successful CP, I recieved my VISA and an envelope with documents. I didn't read the instuctions on the envelope NOT to open it. By mistake the envelope was opened. I again applied gum and closed it. Is it OK? Thanks in advance for all replies.

I don't think that's ok.
It is my understanding that by opening the envelope you may have invalidated the immigrant visa.
You should talk to an immigration lawyer ASAP.
