Experts, I need your help with my unique situation...
I was on L1 visa in US (valid till Jun'2013) and had also applied for GC and AP. Following are the key dates:
- Received EAD + AP combo card on 10/25/2012
- Left US to visit India on 10/31/2012
- GC was approved in 11/05/2012. (Currently GC card is with my friend in US)
- Travelling back to US on 02/01/2013 (only have EAD+AP card in hand, and L1 stamp on passport)
Now I am travelling back to US from India, and want to know if I can travel to US via London, Paris or Frankfurt without requiring transit visa by showing the L1 stamp (valid till Jun'2013) ?
or since my GC is approved hence my L1 stamp is no longer valid and would cause problem in transit ? During transit do they cross verify the L1 visa validity in some system ?
