Returning resdient visa - baby born in the foreign country.

Hi, After getting Green card and a 2 yr re-entry permit we left US. Now after 4 yrs I want to apply for returning resdient visa. I have strong reasons for not able to return within time. We had a baby during our stay in the foreign country. Will the baby be given the permanent resdiency at the port of entry, provided we get the returning resdient visa?

Baby must be less than 2 years at the time mother and baby enter for the first time after the birth of the baby.
