Divorce and Marriage

I got my greencard through my husband in 2004. We are getting divorced in next couple months. My presumption is I will retain the greencard holder status even after divorce.

My question is: My boyfriend is a H1 visa holder and doesn't have any greencard process going on. When we get married, can we apply for his greencard as a spouse? And if yes, what is the process and approx. how long does it take?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, My friend got married in 2002 and she got her permanent residency for 10years in 2004. Her husband and my friend are not in good terms and now her husband had send divorce papers so will she loose her GC? If anyone can suggest good lawyers that would be appreciabele. The marriage was arranged and in good faith but there were some conflicts so he had send the papers. Any suggestions would be appreciable.
