Laid off after GC...

If you are laid off after getting the temporary GC only (not yet rec'd the plastic card), would this cause any problems ?

Joe! can u pls throw some light on this issue

of employment termination after passport staming but before plastic card arrival...i.e. termination within a few weeks of stamping on passport ....
....and it's repercussions vis-a-vis INS view of intent and any issues affecting the application for citizenship later...

I am just a lay person like everybody else here. Don't look at me as if I'm the know-it all. In fact, I tend to stay away from posts that have my name in the subject line.
As for the intent issue, all I can say is: use common sense!

I think it is the confidence (99% hit ratio) with which some

people answer like yourself, Abu Lafya and a few others that makes people say like that.

I don't think there anything else in this. I hope the others do agree.

I do not agree with you at all. This place has been a source of first hand info for many people over the years. If you don't like any of the posts here go and get your own legal help.
