Hi there,
I am a green card holder living in the United States. I would like to marry my fiancé at the city hall in South Korea - my fiancé is korean. The marriage certificate I am told is valid abroad so I assume I will not have to register my marriage when I return. My question is whether the marriage will effect my green card in anyway? Also if you have any additional knowledge or anything about this marriage abroad such as filing taxes I would appreciate it.
