While my father was visiting India, he lost his green card. He applied for a Transportation letter at the US Embassy in Bombay. A few days later the US Embassy informed him that the US Customs and Border Protection at the US Embassy in New Delhi had rejected his application citing that they think he does not want to stay in the US. Could someone help with what this means. Does this means my father will not be able travel to the US again? What is our recourse in this matter?
