How can someone travel overseas for 4 years to complete a 4 year PhD program being a Green Card holder (U.S. resident alien)
it is too long for a reentry permit, and a returning resident visa?,
During the 4 years, the plan is to come and go to the US about every 6 month, but only stay about 3 weeks each.
Any Ideals or help would be apprenticed. Also applying for US citizenship is not an option yet, (do not meet the residency requirements yet)
