My parents just got the Green Card and will be traveling to US soon. I live in East Coast. Do my parents have to choose port of entry on the East Coast OR they can enter US in California side, holiday there and then come to East Coast.

Someone told me they should enter US via a city close to my home city on east coast - Is that true?

Not true, The Port of Entry and final destination can be anywhere they want, from Guam to Puerto Rico.

How did your parents get their Green Cards while abroad? Do you perhaps mean that they just go their immigrant visas?
