I have a pending i485 and need to go to India for my nieces marriage. I have applied for a re entry permit, but it is taking too long it has been over 3 months since I filed it. I need to leave by the 31 of January, so my question is: do I need to continue to wait for the re entry permit or should I just go to India. And if I do need to wait how much longer do you think the process will take. Also is there any way that I could get a travel permit quicker.
