I have been granted a returning resident immigrant visa. I had the medical almost 6 months ago, and so I need to enter the US very soon to complete the process. I called the doctors to enquire about the final date I can enter, and they said that I can come back in and that they would redo the xrays and blood test and would then extend the process (by forwarding this on to the embassy) for another 6 months. That would be useful, as our 'full' moving back date looks like it will be June/July.
My question is - does anyone have experience of this? I hesitate to do anything that would jeopardize my visa, and so think I should travel to the US next week.
Any advice would be appreciated.
