Filed for re-entry permit whilst I-90 is still processing?
Hi guys! When my GC was initially issued on June 2013, it was printed with incorrect information so I filed for replacement (I-90). I just got done with biometrics this February 7th and haven't heard since. I will be going back abroad to finish my last year in college this June so I decided to file for a re-entry permit. My questions are:
1.) Will my application be accepted even though I am not done with my I-90 yet?
2.) What is the typical time frame for re-entry permits to get the biometrics appointment (and also walk-in early)?
3.) My temporary I-551 will expire this May but what if my green card hasn't arrived yet, can I avail of the temporary passport stamp to exit the US?
4.) Can my Dad send the re entry permit (I chose to mail in US address) if it didn't arrive yet before I depart overseas?
