  • My expedite application experience of re-entry permit

I sent my application on Apr 19 and received my 797c together with the biometrics today on May 1st,
I have heard that it takes 2-3 weeks to get the biometrics letter, but still, I was so nervous that I cannot leave by the end of May.
I just wrote a letter said that I would have to leave by late May because of oversea employment, no formal document (e.g offer letter)

    here is the detail timeline

Apr 19 USPS priority mail sent, 1 prepaid envelope included, put EXPEDITE on envelope & upper right on the application
Apr 22 Received at the phoenix lockbox location,
Apr 25 email notification received with application # LIN***
Apr 28 Acceptance status updated on uscis website
(dated Apr 23 received the fee)
May 1 797 C and biometrics appointment letter (same paper)
    (dated Apr 28)
    May 7 bio appointment

12 days in total, much faster than I thought
I guess express mail would save 3,4 more days if you are in very urgent situation.
hope my timeline is helpful to someone who is nervous like me)))

How long after Biometrics appointment to get reentry?

    Hi!
Can you tell me if you already received the reentry? My husband had the Biometrics appointment April 24 and we still no receiving the reentry and we are traveling next Month.
Also, there is anyway to try to expedite the reentry once the application and biometrics are already in process?
    Thank you so much!
