Reentry pemit

I would be very thankful if someone answers my question

I am in 12th grade in USA(Green Card Holder).I have to back to India for studying engineering there so can I take 2 year reentry permit and come back after 2 years but i have heard that the immigration officer may stop you if they want to and ask you to go back. If i can come back can take the permit again and come back to USA without having any problem

With a Reentry Permit, you must return before a two-year period has completed.

You may then apply for a new Reentry Permit.
