    Same Alien # for me and Spouse

    Both me and my spouse have been given the same alien number on our passports (although the number differ by 1 on the actual IV (I have a copy of it)). Our POE is Detroit and we got our IV recently thru CP process.
    I believe this is a mistake on the officer's part! What can we do to get this rectified?

    Please advice...

    This is a mistake.
    You should go to INS office to correct this.
    Dig down this forum, another person had similar issue.

      Thanks Abu. WE got it corrected. Although, we got their early, but still it was a long wait before we got our stuff done.
