Salary cut after I-485 approval..is it reason enough to quit

The employer who sponsored my I-485 stated in labor that he will pay me $x/hr...I got a raise last year which makes my salary 1.1x/hr but now he is cutting back my salary to 0.8x/hr. If I refuse to take this salary cut and leave the sponored company, will it cause me any problem with INS ? What are my rights in such a scenario ? My I-485 was approved 3 months ago.I have the intent to continue but this salary cut I am looking for new opportunities.Do you forsee any problem with this?

You are OK to leave if this cut below I140 figure occured after approval. Try to get one paystub with this lowered salary or even better, get a formal letter about the reduction.
If you can get a position with salary >=1.1*x then you can have peace of mind to justify your move to INS.
